Zack Poimboeuf serves as an Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) analyst in the Office of Finance at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS). In this role, he manages the day to day operations of the HHS-wide ERM Core Team (HHS’s community of ERM practitioners), and he serves as the team lead on ERM knowledge management. Zack is among the first group of HHS employees to have earned the RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional-Fed (RIMS-CRMP-Fed) credential. He holds a B.A. in Political Science from Louisiana State University and an M.S. in Social Work from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining HHS, he worked as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at a nonprofit counseling center and served as a Peace Corps Volunteer in Niger, West Africa.
