Mick Reed is a retired US Marine Corps helicopter pilot and cross functional leader. As a Lead Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton for nine years, he advised and supported Marine Corps headquarters in the US, Asia-Pacific, and Europe-Africa on matters of strategy, international security cooperation, contingency planning, and operational readiness. Most recently, Mick was the Senior Director of Strategy & Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) at VF Corporation, the parent company of Vans, The North Face, Timberland, Dickies, and numerous other apparel and footwear brands. In this role, Mick pulled from his background in military operations and planning to activate ERM as a deliberate, integrated, and forward-looking process that anticipates political, societal, technological, and industry forces of change; seizes emerging opportunities; and mitigates hazards.
He holds a Bachelor of Business in Finance and Banking from the University of Missouri, and a Masters of Operational Studies from Marine Corps University.
