Kim Orlowski is an IRS Senior Risk Advisor supporting the Chief Risk Officer with the Enterprise Risk Management Program. As a Senior Risk Advisor, she serves as an ambassador/champion for risk management, encouraging a safe environment supportive of open risk discussions and supports the ongoing implementation of the ERM program. She works closely with the business unit risk liaisons in facilitating the annual enterprise risk assessment and leading a range of ERM related activities.
Kim has been a Senior Risk Advisor, since September 2017. Prior to her current position, Kim served as a Territory Manager in the Large Business and International Business Unit at the IRS where she led 8 teams responsible for auditing the largest corporations located in the San Francisco/San Jose area. Kim began her career with the IRS in 1987 as a revenue agent in Buffalo, NY and joined the management ranks in 1995 in Las Vegas, NV. She held various management positions in Las Vegas, Buffalo and Oakland. Kim received a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
