Kenneth M. Tinsley is the Chief Risk Officer (CRO) and Senior Vice President of the Office of Risk Management. He has held this position since January 2016 and is the first career-level CRO in the EXIM’s history. As CRO, Mr. Tinsley is responsible for implementing the position’s Charter-mandated responsibilities. Essentially, the CRO is responsible for all matters related to managing and mitigating all risk to which EXIM is exposed. The CRO reports to the President of EXIM.
The Office of Risk Management was created to support the broad mandate of the CRO, which oversees credit policy and compliance, country risk and economic analysis, and enterprise risk management.
Mr. Tinsley’s career at EXIM spans approximately forty years during which time he has held a number of credit-related management positions. Immediately prior to becoming CRO Mr. Tinsley was the Senior Vice President of Credit Risk Management, effectively the chief credit officer of the bank.
