Jonelle Pianta, Chief Risk Officer, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, Office of Inspector General. She has been with HUD OIG for more than 22 years and 5 years in private industry. As a CPA, with an accounting degree from Saginaw Valley State University, she has held progressively responsible positions within the Office of Audit until recently. In 2017, Jonelle was given sole responsibility for developing and implementing the risk management program within her organization. She also works with other ERM leaders in the OIG community to help develop guides and standards for their risk management programs.
