Erich Gabris is the branch chief for DLA’s Risk Management and Internal Control branches in the Enterprise Risk Management Program Management Office of the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Erich has been with DLA for over 13 years, first as a contractor and then as a civilian for more than 10 years. He has worked in multiple DLA organizations, including the ERM Program Management Office, where he was the Agency’s Acting Chief Risk Officer (CRO), Information Operations (J6), Financial Operations (J8), and the former Strategy and Policy Organization (J5). Throughout his career, Erich has led risk management, process improvement, and audit readiness initiatives. Additionally, Erich was the Technical Program Manager for DLA’s Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) and Application Security Programs, providing IT capabilities to the DLA Enterprise and supporting the security of DLA’s Enterprise Business System (EBS). Prior to joining DLA, Erich worked for KPMG LLP, supporting Defense and Civilian clients in the Federal IT Advisory Practice. Erich is a 2007 graduate of Penn State University, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Information Sciences and Technology.
