Doug Belling is the lead for U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) High Risk List Executive Advisory Board. At VA, Doug has improved strategizing, coordination, and communication across functions on VA-owned and multi-agency High Risk List areas. Doug also helped create the Interagency Consortium on the High Risk List, which seeks to promote best practices and knowledge sharing. Doug provides consultation to the Office of National Drug Control Policy as it responds to a new March 2021 Government Accountability Office High Risk Listing for drug misuse. Doug is an advocate of integrating strategy, performance, and risk. He has primarily served in program management roles in government since 2004.
