Dan Kinsella is an Advisory Partner serving as the Deloitte national Extended Enterprise and Third Party Assurance leader. Dan combines business and technology solutions to help his clients create and optimize their extended enterprise. Dan is also one of the Firm’s leaders on the Service Delivery Transformation integrated market offering focused on improving client’s efforts in shared services and outsourcing environments.
Dan’s industry focus has traditionally resided in technology but he possesses broad industry experience that spans Fortune 500 clients in Financial Services, Energy & Resources, Health and Life Sciences, and Manufacturing. Dan serves national and international clients and currently focuses designing solutions for risk, control, and cyber management including governance approaches, model design, and transparency through automation and analytics for C-Suite executives. Dan specializes in creating synergies to allow the efficient exchange of risk information in a marketplace.
Dan is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), and a Certified Information Technology Professional (CITP) and has been published in several articles as well as a book.
Serving the community is one of Dan’s passions: he is the Chair of the Accounting Advisory Board at the University of Nebraska at Omaha as well as the President of the Omaha Public Library Foundation. Dan also serves as the Finance Council Chair of his church as is a board member of the Diocese of Des Moines Finance Committee. Dan and his wife Kari have four children. They enjoy a wide variety of activities including theater, symphony, concerts, camping, hiking, boating, and auto mechanics (this is really just Dan). They live on an acreage where they have a large garden, animals, and harvest fruit trees. Dan also enjoys being a youth soccer and wrestling coach which forces him to use all the patience he can muster.
