April Szuchyt has been in federal service for nearly 20 years and has served in a variety of compliance and oversight roles in her positions at the United States Peace Corps and the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). Ms. Szuchyt joined the staff of NIST in 2005 where she is currently the Director of Internal Controls. April leads a staff of five internal auditors who implement internal control activities including entity and process level risk assessments, internal control reviews, and FMFIA reporting.
