Neeraj Gupta is the head of the Strategic Planning and Organizational Change Management Team at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). He is responsible for user adoption of new technologies, measuring progress of technology implementations, and capital planning for IT initiatives. He has been with the CFPB for more than 8 years.
Mr. Gupta was a member of the US Department of Treasury Team leading the government-wide implementation of the DATA Act in 2015. More recently, he has led the implementation of Technology Business Management (TBM) at the CFPB. In both cases, Mr. Gupta has leveraged IT modernization initiatives to create higher quality data to inform policies and reduce enterprise risk.
Prior to federal government service, Mr. Gupta was a Management Consultant for 8 years. Before that, he was an analyst in the medical industry. Neeraj has a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Emory University and his MBA from the George Washington University School of Business.
