Jenni Main is the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer at the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Previously, Ms. Main was a Managing Director and the Chief Financial & Chief Operating Officer of Millstein and Co., a boutique investment bank. During her career, Ms. Main has served in Chief Financial Officer positions in a diverse range of organizations including the Office of Financial Stability, US Treasury Department, the U.S. Small Business Administration, and Oakleaf Waste Management. In her role at Treasury, she was responsible for the design, development and successful implementation of all areas of budget and financial management for the $700 billion Troubled Assets Relief Program (TARP). Ms. Main spent the first five years of her career at the US Office of Management & Budget.
Ms. Main’s leadership in financial management has earned her numerous awards. In 2010 she was a “Service to America” Medals Finalist, and won the Association of Government Accountants National Achievement of the Year Award. She also received a 2009 U.S. Treasury Distinguished Service Award, and a 2008 U.S. Presidential Distinguished Rank Award.
Ms. Main has a Master’s Degree in Public Policy, with emphasis in economics and finance, from Harvard University and a Bachelor’s of Arts, cum laude, from Cornell University. She resides in Bethesda, Maryland with her husband and two children.
