W. Curtis McNeil is the Risk Management Officer for the Architect of the Capitol (AOC). In this capacity, Mr. McNeil oversees the functions of the Integrated Risk Management Division (IRMD) under the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), which includes enterprise risk management (ERM), internal controls, audit liaison support activities, data analytics to support decision-making and the development of the Performance and Accountability Report (PAR). Prior to joining the Federal government in 2017, Mr. McNeil had over 13 years of private sector experience supporting Federal agencies with risk management activities including internal controls, ERM, process improvement and general audit compliance. Mr. McNeil has a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Gettysburg College, is a RIMS-Certified Risk Management Professional for Federal Government (RIMS-CRMP-FED), and a Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB). Additionally, Mr. McNeil currently serves as the Chair for the Data Analytics Community of Practice (DACoP) for the Association for Federal Enterprise Risk Management (AFERM).
