For the 2020 AFERM Summit Training, we are offering 5 Continuing Professional Education (CPEs) hours or 5 Professional Development Units (PDUs). For more information about speakers and session descriptions, please refer to the Agenda and speaker pages.
CPE/PDU Tracking Process
AGA adheres to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) standards for CPE programs, which require an attendance verification process for all events. Please follow the steps below for your CPE credits. We will use the same process for PDUs, which can be claimed via the Project Management Institute’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) Program.
- During the Summit, letters will appear at unannounced times in the top LEFT-hand corner of the PowerPoint slide. Please write down these letters when you see them. NOTE: This is not a pop-up.
- At the end of the Summit, you will receive a survey from the AGA National Office with a survey to input the letters for each of the sessions you attended.
- Participants who successfully complete this process will receive an email from the AGA National Office within two weeks stating that the CPE certificate is ready to be downloaded.
NOTE: You must be able to view the PowerPoint slides on a device to see the CPE letters. All those dialing in using the phone line only cannot see the slides for CPEs. Thus, will NOT be able to receive CPEs and PDUs. Announcing the letters to fellow attendees in the chat box is against NASBA policy and you may be ineligible to earn the CPE credits for the webinar.
CPE/PDU retrieval
AGA will distribute the CPE certificates which will be available to print via AGA’s website within two weeks after the training. All attendees will receive an email from AGA National stating that the CPE certificate is ready to download.
You may also claim PDUs through your designated certification organization at that time. For all Project Management Professional (PMP)®, Program Management Professional (PgMP)® and other PMI professional credentials, proceed directly through PMI’s Continuing Certification Requirements (CCR) Program to claim PDUs.
